Well, so much for posting often in the blog! September turned out to be a
very busy month but things have slowed down a bit here, for now. We
made the annual trip to Dulce (in the Jicarilla Apache Reservation) in
northern New Mexico for Go-Jii-Ya. We got to spend time with family and
just enjoy nature at its best. The above photo is of my mother-in-law's camp, photographs are not allowed during
Go-Jii-Ya so enjoy these ones of the scenery:)
I have been working on new pieces too! I have loved hats for some years
now, specially the very elegant and lady-like styles of the 1920's-40's.
So I have created these in a native style all its own. I will be
creating a line of these for the fall/winter and will also be taking
custom orders. Here is a small peek:
